Global competition with challenges regarded to build a fully connected car and ultimately a completely autonomous vehicle, are already on the way. Who will cross the finish line successfully, and where exactly that finish line is, remains to be seen.

We would like to share with you nowadays happening, how high school students are thinking about this assumption and not just in matter of autonomous car possibilities but also in matter of autonomous factory too.

“The Start DIY Contest is educational at the core because it gives students the freedom to set and achieve the goals in their own way,” Szende Mihálcz said. “students are simply not asked to work in this way throughout their school years.”

The competition also pushes them to pay attention to the fine details of engineering. Winning the competition isn’t simply a matter of crossing the finish line first. (Though that doesn’t hurt.)
