Annual meeting of Transylvanian Mechanical Engineering Cluster (TMEC) in Sfântu Gheorghe and in Miercurea-Ciuc

The Transylvanian Mechanical Engineering Cluster (TMEC), which is headquartered in Sfântu Gheorghe, held the annual cluster meeting at the end of the year, on November 7th at Sfântu Gheorghe and on December 11th at Miercurea-Ciuc in 2017. The event took place in the gathering room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Covasna in Sfântu Gheorghe and in the office of the Association of Enterprises of Csík in Miercurea-Ciuc.

Kinga Kristó – cluster manager of TMEC – summarized the year of 2017:
- Participation at 19 prestigious events organized at national and international level;
- Also TMEC organized their first event, namely Start DIY Contest, which event will be organized yearly;
- New partnerships established with South West Hungarian Engineering Cluster, Serbian Automotive Cluster and ARIA Normandy Cluster, a cooperation to carry out future projects
- New members who joined the cluster in 2017: 5 SMEs and 1 CCI;
In conclusion, 2017 was a successful year for TMEC and for the future TMEC will organize company visits between members and seeking to apply for international projects.
