Conference “SEE Automotive Conference – Connect & Supply 2018”, the biggest automotive conference in the wider region of Southeast Europe. The organizer Serbian Automotive Cluster managed to connect more than 230 experts representing 120 companies/institutions, from 20 countries, and to organize more than 400 B2B meetings.
The themes of the conference were the following topics:
- Overview of the automotive industry in South East Europe (automotive trends and future plans of the OEMs and TIER1&2 suppliers)
- Supply – Challenges and Prospective for Suppliers from South East Europe
- R&D and innovation possibilities in the region (ICT, educational system and research centers)
- Digitalization, electric cars, automation
- B2B meetings
Within this Conference, AC Serbia and Development agency of Serbia organized International b2b meetings for companies from automotive sector. These meetings were organized within Enterprise Europe Network, with support from several members of this Network from Balkans. On the part of TMEC (Transylvanian Mechanical Engineering Cluster) Kristó Kinga cluster manager took a share in the conversation with CAAR / Maurizio Panizzo, SEENEWS / Peter Kaishev, S.C. COMPONENTE AUTO S.A / Mihai Stefanescu, DANA / Balint Major and NORDSON EFD / Peter Kosaras.
From the 4 workshops subjects (Workshop 1-Open Source based solutions, Workshop 2-Rapid Prototyping, Workshop 3-Industry 4.0 Solutions and Workshop 4-Funding Opportunities for SME) the representatives of the TMEC, Kristó Kinga participated in the rapid prototyping and Mihálcz Szende attended in the industry 4.0 workshop.
Kinga and Szende also highlighted that there were qualitative presentations, like the CAAR, which is an italian service company aimed to deliver a large range of high quality engineering activities on the international market, the Karer Consulting, which is an international consulting group with offices in four countries across Europe, the Doherty Hungary Kft, which specialises in the engineering and manufacture of electric motor shafts, supplying the household appliance, power tool and automotive sector and for instance Charge de mission Innovation et Internationalisation cluster, which invitated the TMEC for the FEAL ( The Future of Automotive in Europe ) event, whic aim is to become a reference in the field of European events linked to the industry of the future.
